April General Membership Minutes April 2, 2007 Meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance by Dee Leonard. Steve Wolff introduced new officers- Dee Leonard-President, Donna Brocco-1st Vice President, Maureen Singiser-2nd Vice President, Rose Rossiter-Treasurer, Jeanne Stigale-Recording Secretary, and Darlene McKendry-Corresponding Secretary. Minutes from March were emailed to everyone’s email address, motion to accept as sent made by Eileen Mannion, seconded by Rose Rossiter. Treasurer’s Report: Current Account Balance: $$$$$ Student Credit Balance $$$$$ Operating Funds Balance $$$$$ Total Deposits For The Month $$$$$ Total Payments Made For The Month $$$$$ Total Payments Due $$$$$ Pasta and Pops total estimated profit $$$$$. The profit will be added into next months report. Incoming funds: Township $$$$$ due, Pasta and Pops and Track Meet Fundraising, Adelphia’s no longer doing fundraiser, Clancey’s and Hollywood also out. Tom said Friendly’s is doing fundraiser where organizations get a percentage of sales. . Beef stick .60¢ and sell for $1.00. Soy candles $13.00 for 10 oz, and $19.00 for 16 oz Cinnamon Buns sell for $3.00 make 50% profit Citrus sale suggested running end of Sept beginning of Oct. Entertainment books sold out this year. We are on list for next year, will sell in the fall. Mums fundraiser not being offered by Pumphouse Gardens. Kim Monsue will check into Michael’s in Thorofare. Flowers and water being sold at graduation. It was suggested that Martha get prices for flowers from Grove Florist. Track Meet, planning meeting Tues, April 10th at 7 pm. Shop Thursday night, meet at Sams at 6:30. Also need people to clean stand Thursday night. Sigh up sheet for Track Meet, divided into 3 shifts. Leak in concession stand, Steve will call Myron April 21st Chili Cook Off in Mullica Hill. Band members performing in full uniform, kids can bring own water. April 23rd, Trip Meeting, mandatory for anyone going; students that are going must have a parent present. The meeting will be held in the auditorium. Passports are not needed. A original birth certificate is acceptable. Band Picnic-will be at Lake Garrison. The pavilion has been reserved for June 10 and a $50.00 deposit was given. Band members, 8th grade band students and one parent are given a ticket. Additional tickets are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for students. John from JMJ Photography attended the meeting.. He offered to take and print photos at band competition. We need at least 4 parents to work booth. He will take 40 to 50 pictures of each band. Thereare 25 bands to be expected at this years Calvacade. Also suggested selling calendars of band kids. Our cost $3.00 and sell for $10.00. Need to know by Aug, will book in June. Mellophone is still missing, resource officer was notified. Banquet tickets will go on sale once Musical is finished. Motion to adjourn was made by Mike Wyatt and seconded by Eileen Mannion. |
