December General Membership Minutes

December 3, 2007

The meeting was opened by President Dee Leonard with the Pledge of Allegiance

November meeting minutes were sent via email to the membership, motion to approve as sent made by Rose Rossiter, seconded by Jeanne Stigale

Treasurer report given by Rose Rossiter

Student X Account is set up and funded by band staff , faculty and any orders that are taken at the concession stand.

Student credits can be used for 2^nd down payment for the band trip which is now due.

Fundraising going on right now are, Hat and Scarf, poinsettias and coupon books.

Suggested to do coin drop at Acme, Toms says there are students that will participate.

Stand Clean up will be done after Christmas.

Winter concert band parents provide drinks and baked goods.

Next month we will elect a nominating committee for eligibility to vote and run for an officer position.

Tom discussed first year members getting jackets for winning chapters, also where to put the patch for the other band members. Students will have to bring in jackets.

There are outstanding trip deposits.

Next Wednesday 2^nd deposit of $200.00 due.

Tour shirts will be given out. Record of the season on shirts.

Will have rehearsal this Wednesday and next.

Concert report time 5:45 for group pictures, concert starts at 7pm. Attire will be black pants, socks and shoes and white shirt for boys and solid black for girls.

Cindy will be putting in an order of 70 hats and scarf’s and should be in for Christmas.
