January General Meeting Minutes

January 7, 2008 

The meeting was opened by President Dee Leonard with the Pledge of Allegiance.

December meeting minutes were sent out via email to the membership, motion to approve as sent made by Jill Cullen and seconded by Ann Connor.

Dee did remind everyone to sigh in, and explained that to vote or to run for an officer position you have to be at least 5 events.

Rose Rossiter read the treasurer report.

• Open for suggestions

• Cheesecake sale for Easter

• Coin Drop

• Gertrude Hawk

• Pasta and Pops/Chinese Auction, Possibility of Eileen making a quilt

• Coupon Books

Will send out e-mail to all band parents concerning fundraisers

Nominating Committee, Darlene McKendry, Ann Connor and Bonnie Dawson for next month elections.

To be eligible you have to be at 5 events and two meetings.

Band Trip second payment is due

Spirit Wear on clearance at Pasta and Pops, will start fresh with new inventory next year. 

Will check into Soupy Island for band picnic
