June General Membership Minutes

June 04, 2007 

Meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance by Dee Leonard 

Minutes from May were emailed to everyone’s email address, motion to accept as sent made by Eileen Mannion, seconded by Rose Rossiter. 

Treasurer’s Report:                  

Financial Report information available from Treasurer.                                               

Sunrise Performance Thursday night at 8pm, parents are welcome to attend. 

Banquet Friday night at Nicolosi’s.  Dress is casual, no jeans, t-shirts or sneaks. 

Band picnic canceled. 

Day camp Aug 13-16, 8 am to 2 pm. 

Band camp, Aug 19-23.  Parent’s day Tues Aug 21. 

Ice cream social Aug 24 (parents preview night)           

Fundraising 

Friendly’s night Aug 16 from 5 to 8 pm. (last day of day camp), will set up mini Chinese auction.  Donna already received donation from Olive Garden. 

Mums- Kim Monsu is checking with Michael’s in West Deptford. 

Order new mugs for football games. 

Sign up sheet for Basket Auction Committee, Donna Brocco suggested getting together at her house. 

Checking into other vendors for magnets, Signs Unlimited are $4.35 each, no limit on order, bars $2.00, no dye cut charge. 

Tom Cross will be at Aug meeting to discuss t shirts to be sold at West Deptford Home Show..

Mr. Kershaw's Comments 

Band Trip was exceptional.  I like to add, I was very impressed how organized it was.  

Elks parade, highest scoring high school band. 

Spring concert CD’s are available to order. 

New members start in July. 

Collecting marching band uniforms.  Also collecting used shoes. 

Newsletter with summer schedule and band camp, parent visit and uniform fitting. 

No general meeting in July.
