Melissa is a graduate of
Triton Regional High School and is currently attending Drexel University.
She plans to graduate in 2009 with a degree in Corporate Communication &
Public Relations and a minor in Marketing & Business administration.
During high school Melissa was
part of Triton's Marching Band and Indoor Colorguard where she was part of
marching band program that collected 3 TOB Chapter 1 Championships (Group 1)
and one Atlantic Coast Championship in 2001. The “Free Spirit” indoor guard
were Chapter 1 Champions all 4 years and a Gold Medalist in 2002.
Melissa was never able to
march corps based on her school schedule but has participated in indoor
programs around the area. In 2005, she marched with Co-motion indoor guard
gaining a silver medal in the Independent Open class, and in 2006 with the
Blackwatch Independent World Colorguard winning a gold medal in TIA and
becoming a finalist in the WGI championships in Dayton, OH.
Melissa has been with the West Deptford
Marching Eagles since 2004. She taught for a short time with Timber Creek
HS, helping their Indoor guard to a Chapter 1 Championship (Independent A)
Gold Medal. She also works with the Sterling HS marching band and indoor
guard. This past season the Sterling indoor colorguard placed 5th
in the Scholastic Novice class and received a promotion to the Scholastic A
class.
Melissa currently lives in Philadelphia, PA
and is a Marketing and Advertising intern with Philadelphia Eagles. She
likes puppies and is an obsessive text message-er. She is looking forward to
a great 2007 season--both football and marching band! |
