Competition weekend #2 is in the books and we are a hit! "Madness in the Moonlight" is making a strong impression across TOB. Congratulations to the WDMB on claiming 1st place and the Williamstown Show Grand Champions (highest score in the entire show) honors with our score of 89.00. This is the highest score earned to date in all of TOB! Saturday's score of 89.00 is the highest week 4 score in WDMB history. This beat our previous high score of 88.40 set in 2019.

Looking forward we are really moving into the thick of our season. The next two weeks will be our busiest with normal rehearsal schedule, football and double header competitions. We don't call it "BAND-TOBER" for nothing! Hang on tight, its going to be an awesome ride.

PARENTS!!! We need YOU tonight at our most important parents meeting of the year!  It's our last meeting before our Home Show and we need everyone!! Please make every effort to come out - 8pm in the WDHS Band room.  Thank you!!!

Attendance – We have had near perfect attendance for over 2 weeks! Thank you! We know we have a very demanding October schedule coming up, but the results are clear. Great Attendance = Great Outcomes.

What an amazing debut for the WDMB! We had a very strong performance at Washington Twp. and launched into the season with a score of 82.90. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and cheer us on! The WDMB is currently ranked #1 in our class & #7 out of all 100 bands in TOB. While it's nice to see today, its hard to rely on early season scores as many bands (us included) are still working to finish and develop our programs.

This week we will continue moving forward as we work to complete the final segment of our show. The end of the show is certainly going to be a showstopper featuring "Bark at the Moon" & "Fly me to the Moon" coming at you in full force. We have only scratched the surface of the program and we are looking forward to sharing more and more each week.

This week we will have a similar schedule as we will not be able to attend this week's Saturday football game. We will rehearse Tuesday 6p-9p, Wednesday 6p-9p, & Friday 5p-9p. Saturday's show schedule is a little later start as the WDMB does not perform until 8:25pm. 

Tour Shirts - Our tour shirt order has been placed. Thank you to our "Artist in Residence" Mr. Parisi for again putting in his own time to create our very own artwork for the shirts. We are very lucky to have such resources among our parents. There will be a small supply of extra shirt for purchase on a first come, first served basis.

PIt Crew - Thank you to all of the parents and alumni parents who got the props show ready. It is so exciting to see the show come alive through all of our various elements. We could not do this with out you. Any parents looking to help out can come out on Wednesday nights during rehearsal. They seem to have a very good time. :)

Band Hallway Decorations - Thank you to our band parents who made the band room entry come alive. The hallway outside the band room has been decorated with art work, banners and lots of stars & moons! The kids really love these special touches. Thank you for making them feel loved.

Video Recordings - We ask that you do not post any video recordings of the WDMB until after the season is complete. We are constantly improving and adding to the show, and we do not want to be judged by any previous performance. Yes, people check things out, if available. We want everyone to experience our show LIVE. Thank you.

This past week we saw the return of our Friday Night Lights! Home football, our favorite, was back and the WD teams brought it! Football had a huge victory, the cheer squad hosted their youth cheer night and looked amazing, and the WDMB debuted their 2024 production. Success was everywhere!

We want to thank our amazing parents!
    Concession Stand - Our first home football game and the WD band parents were awesome. It's amazing how our parents work together to make this all work.
    Props - Our parents who have been building our props have been putting in so many hours building, painting, and making sure we are prepared. We can't wait to see the finished products.
     Pit Crew - Thank you to the volunteer band parents who help us get on and off the field at halftime. We could still use some more help. Please reach out if you can help. You will have the best seat in the house!
     Show Graphics - Thank you to Mr. Anthony Parisi for lending us his time and talents. He has been creating the custom artwork for our show. His work is elegant, inspiring and will set our celestial stage perfectly.

This upcoming week will have a few schedule adjustments. Due to the lack of visitors seating at Camden Catholic, the WDMB will not be attending this week's football game. This allowed a little more flexibility to move our rehearsal schedule around. Rehearsals will be Tue, Wed, & Fri. The band will now have Thursday night off. :) On Friday, we will have rehearsal 5pm-9pm with a special public preview performance in full uniform at 8:30pm! We are so excited to share our 2024 program "Madness in the Moonlight" with you. 

​This Saturday the WDMB launches into their 1st competition of the season at Washington Twp. HS! Our performance time is 5pm! We are the very first band performing at the show. After our band's performance, they will be able to change and watch the rest of the show. They will need to bring some $$ for dinner at the show's concession stand. 

Competition Tickets -  Tickets are now available. Only adult tickets are available from Mr. Kershaw at $18pp.  Students/Seniors tickets are available at the gate at the show.  Be sure to purchase your adult tickets from Mr. Kershaw. We keep the proceeds from the adult tickets we sell.  Only cash is accepted for all ticket sales.
