What a week we had. There are so many things that we accomplished. It was great to support our school at the homecoming pep rally and at the football game. We got to meet many 7th & 8th grade students who are interesting in joining our ranks next year for WDMB Middle School Nigh (Thank you to Mrs. Graff for bringing out her students.) Next we took the 2hr drive up to Madison to dance our way into competition. The WDMB took home the honors of being the GRAND CHAMPIONS (highest score of the entire show) and BEST DRUM MAJOR. Thank you to everyone who made the trip to support us.
SHOUT OUT to Mrs. Beth Adams! Mrs. Adams notticed that our uniform compression sleeves were a little too big for some of our petite members and offered to resize them for us. She wound up resewing about 30 pairs of sleeves. Thank you for sharing your time & sewing talents. They look fantastic.
BAND PARENTS MEETING - HOME SHOW!
This week we have our most important band parents meeting of the year. Tonight at 8pm we ask parents to come out for our annual HOME SHOW PREP meeting. Our home competition is a huge undertaking, and we need “all hands-on deck.” 8pm tonight in the WDHS Band Room.
Tour Shirts - All tour shirt orders will be distributed this Thursday night! Yes, we will have some extras available. First come, first served.
Buddy Bags - Each year at our home show our members create special gifts called buddy bags. Each member exchanges with another member. No one knows who is their "buddy." This is a kid to kid thing and I just wanted to mention it. I am not involved. Please don't ask me about it. :)
