2024 Tour Shirt Logo What an amazing debut for the WDMB! We had a very strong performance at Washington Twp. and launched into the season with a score of 82.90. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and cheer us on! The WDMB is currently ranked #1 in our class & #7 out of all 100 bands in TOB. While it's nice to see today, its hard to rely on early season scores as many bands (us included) are still working to finish and develop our programs.
This week we will continue moving forward as we work to complete the final segment of our show. The end of the show is certainly going to be a showstopper featuring "Bark at the Moon" & "Fly me to the Moon" coming at you in full force. We have only scratched the surface of the program and we are looking forward to sharing more and more each week.
This week we will have a similar schedule as we will not be able to attend this week's Saturday football game. We will rehearse Tuesday 6p-9p, Wednesday 6p-9p, & Friday 5p-9p. Saturday's show schedule is a little later start as the WDMB does not perform until 8:25pm.
Tour Shirts - Our tour shirt order has been placed. Thank you to our "Artist in Residence" Mr. Parisi for again putting in his own time to create our very own artwork for the shirts. We are very lucky to have such resources among our parents. There will be a small supply of extra shirt for purchase on a first come, first served basis.
PIt Crew - Thank you to all of the parents and alumni parents who got the props show ready. It is so exciting to see the show come alive through all of our various elements. We could not do this with out you. Any parents looking to help out can come out on Wednesday nights during rehearsal. They seem to have a very good time. :)
Band Hallway Decorations - Thank you to our band parents who made the band room entry come alive. The hallway outside the band room has been decorated with art work, banners and lots of stars & moons! The kids really love these special touches. Thank you for making them feel loved.
Video Recordings - We ask that you do not post any video recordings of the WDMB until after the season is complete. We are constantly improving and adding to the show, and we do not want to be judged by any previous performance. Yes, people check things out, if available. We want everyone to experience our show LIVE. Thank you.
