The West Deptford Winterguard program was reformed in 2019 as a pilot program sponsored by the West Deptford Band Parents. In 2020, the West Deptford Winterguard became a fully sponsored activity supported by the WD Board of Education and the West Deptford Band Parents. In 2020, the WD Winterguard was on their way to establishing their place in the activity, but the season was interrupted by the COVID-19 Pandemic in Mid-March. In 2021, the guard continued to provide a training experience, but shows were only held virtually. 2022 the WD Winterguard was able to have a fully developed season which included a full slate of local competitions culminating with their 1st trip to Wildwood, NJ for the Tournament Indoor Association (TIA) Atlantic Coast Championships.
