Band camp at Camp Ramblewood is one of the longest running traditions at WDHS. The marching band has been going to Camp Ramblewood for over 35 years! This is where we make the strong bonds that promote our positive culture and establish teamwork and dedication. We are very proud of the experience this provides and the traditions that live on.
This year we will be the only group onsite during our stay. Some years there are other HS bands at the camp, but this year we have the whole camp to ourselves!
Final payments are due 8/10.

10:00am - Report to Oakview Elementary at 10am/Luggage check/Load
11:30am - Depart for Camp Ramblewood
1:00pm - Lunch stop at the Chesapeake House Rest Stop on US95.
2:15pm - Arrive at Camp Ramblewood!
Tuesday, August 16 - Family Visitation Day
This is a wonderful tradition that allows our families to come down and see what Ramblewood is all about. We have lunch all together. This is a great opportunity to check-in and say hello. (expect requests from your children!)
We still have some slots open for food donations. If you can, please take a look at the sign up sheet.

8:15am - 9:15am - Load all food, and supplies into the trailer
9:30am - Depart WDHS Horseshoe for Camp Ramblewood
11:00am - Arrive, unload and set up - All Hands on Deck
12:00am - Lunch

6:00pm - Arrive at WDHS/Unload
6:30pm - Dismissed from WDHS
