There are many things going on this week as we prepare to take our show on the road and into competition.  
Here are this week’s news & updates:

Practice fields:  Due to construction damage and new sod on the soccer fields, our regular field was not available, causing us to move to Oakview.  Just recently, repairs have been made to our regular rehearsal field which is directly behind the home bleachers.  While most of the area is usable, it does not give us enough depth for our entire program.  As a result, we will be using the Oakview field as our primary rehearsal location.  Our regular rehearsal field will only be used as a secondary location for smaller sections of the show that do not require the full field to rehearse.

Photo sharing:  We are using a phone app called Photo Circle to collect and share photos.  This is a free app.  Download the app to share or view photos others are sharing.  WDMB 2015 Pin: 179917

Color Guard Shoes have been ordered.  Shoes are $30.  Please forward your shoe payment to Mr. Kershaw.  Please make checks out to “West Deptford High School”

Football this week:  This Friday we are the "Home" team and will be perform at halftime.  This week's game is at Sterling HS (501 S Warwick Rd, Somerdale, NJ 08083).   We play Haddon Hts.  Their band will not be in attendance.  We will be using Friday as our "dress rehearsal" for Saturday and will be in full uniform!

Competition!!!  OK, here we go!!!  First show is this weekend at William Penn HS.  This is about a 30 minute drive from WDHS.  There may be additional traffic due to the Papal visit in Philadelphia so please plan accordingly.  We will be competing against 4 other Group II, Open Class bands:  Huntingtown HS, North East HS, Queen Anne’s County HS and William Penn HS.  WD Performs at 8pm.   

Competition Tickets!  Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for Students/Seniors.  Only adult tickets are available from Mr. Kershaw.  Students/Seniors tickets are available at the gate.  Be sure to purchase you adult tickets from Mr. Kershaw because we get to keep the proceeds from the tickets we sell.  Only cash is accepted for ticket sales.
