Current Group II Open Rankings Competition is heating up and the WDMB is on fire! This past Saturday the WDMB set another scoring record with their score of 88.40. The WDMB was the highest scoring band in the entire show! Our score eclipsed the previous week 4, high score of 87.60 set in 2012! The WDMB currently has the 2nd highest score of all 205 HS bands in TOB! We are currently only .4 behind the leader, Group II Open competitor - Allegany HS from Maryland.

A note of recognition...
At the Sterling football game the Sterling marching band performed at halftime. As they were finishing their performance, both WD's & Sterling's football team began entering the field area and players began running onto the field. Once Coach Morrell noticed that the Sterling band was still performing, he called the WD team back off the field. Sterling's FB team ran across the entire field, down the 30yd line while their own band performed. THANK YOU COACH MORRELL AND THE WD FOOTBALL TEAM FOR BEING A CLASS ACT AND RESPECTING THOSE KIDS!
This week is a bye week for our football team. This will allow us to shift rehearsal time from Thursday to Friday! We head to Shawnee HS for this week's TOB competition. We will be working hard to refine and develop our program to the next level. Attendance is always crucial! Each week we continue to add elements to enhance the show's depth and performance quality.
Shawnee tickets will be available from Mr. Kershaw. Details to come.
