The 2013 WDMB season is in the books.  What an amazing season its been!
 
WDMB was named best band in the Salem "Magic of Christmas" Parade! 
We didn't even know they were awarding placements.

This year's band has a lot of memories...

- Debut our new uniforms!
- Eiffel Tower Prop!
- Set new regular season high score - 93.55!
- 4th Consecutive Atlantic Coast Championship!
- 21 awesome public performances!

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  We know our Marching Eagles have a lot to be thankful for.  Thank you to everyone for making the necessary arrangements on Thanksgiving Day.  It was a cold & windy day but we got through it just fine.  
 
This week we will be preparing for our upcoming Christmas Parades. Each year the Salem and West Cape May Christmas parades serve as the final performances of the marching band season. We have a great time and a lot of fun.

 
This Wednesday we will have MB rehearsal 6pm-8pm.  We will be collecting alternate uniform shirts at this time.  We ask that they be returned clean and folded neatly in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name written on it.
 
For the parade day, students will need money for lunch.  We will be stopping at a shopping center where there are several fast food restaurants to chose from.  Dinner will be provided at the end of the West Cape May parade by our band parents.  Students will also need a red & white Santa hat for the parades. We will be using these in place of our
uniform hats.

9:20am – Depart for Salem Christmas Parade
11:00am – Parade begins
1:00pm – Depart for West Cape May
2:00pm – Lunch stop in Bridgeton (Rt 77 & Rt 49)
3:00pm – Continue to  West Cape May Parade
4:00pm – Arrive in West Cape May
5:00pm – Parade  begins
7:00pm – Complete parade, have pizza dinner (Ocean & Washington St.)
8:00pm – Depart for WDHS
9:45pm – Arrive at WDHS
9:50pm – Dismissed
