Last week the WDMB really added a lot to our halftime program. We were able to bring all of our band together and to start crafting the performance. Our 2020 production “IN CONCERT” is sure to be a big hit this season! Things are really getting excited.

We want to take a moment to thank our volunteers who came out this past Wednesday to help with uniform fittings. We couldn't do it without you!

IT'S GAME TIME! The WDMB has a busy week ahead of us as we prepare for our first event of the season. There are many things on our to do list. Let’s run them down!

UNIFORMS - All band and color guard will receive their uniforms this Wednesday after rehearsal. Students are asked to take them home and try them on. Please notify Mr. Kershaw if there are any issues.

SHOES – All band/guard shoe orders will be in this Thursday.

FB Game – This week the WDMB will be traveling to Haddonfield. Students will report to WDHS, not OV. Questionnaire & temp screenings will be completed as normal before/upon arrival.

BUS TRAVEL - We provide all transportation to and from WDHS for all WDMB events. All bus seating will follow the capacity guidelines. Being that we travel with our equipment, the WDMB’s bus capacity is already reduced below the designated ratio. Masks are required to be worn at all times while on the bus.

REHEARSALS: This will be our final week with Wednesday rehearsals. We will be back to Tuesday & Thursdays next week. Please remember that rehearsals start at 6pm. Students should arrive prior to 6pm to be ready to start at 6p,

The WDMB 2020 season is just getting started! We are determined to succeed and give our members a great experience. Covid-19 has disrupted so many aspects of student life but we are glad that we can still march forward to fulfill our desire to come together and make great music.

TOUR SHIRTS - Each year we have a special shirt for that year's program and details all of our performance schedule. This year's shirt will be different. Being that we do not have a competition schedule, we will be adding the names of all of our members to the back of the shirt. We can't think of a better way to to capture the season than adding the members' name to the 2020 show shirt.  Shirts are $15. Order form is below. Orders are due this week.

UNIFORMS - We will begin fitting musician uniforms this week.  All musicians are asked to report at 5pm on Tuesday & Wednesday for fittings.  We will be fitting jackets on Tuesday and pants on Wednesday.  
=> On Wednesday, we need help from parents who can help us hem uniform pants.  If you are handy with a needle & thread, please come out at 5p.  Thank you!      

BAND & COLOR GUARD SHOES: Band & color guard members who need shoes will need place orders this week.
Band Shoes are $35.  Color guard shoes will be black this year. Color Guard shoes are $30.

2020 PERFORMANCES - We are currently planning on attending all home and away WDHS varsity football games. Our full schedule can be found here: WDMB Schedule  All performances will include all band and color guard.
