West Deptford Marching Band - 2015 TOB Group II Open SJ Champions!

We are so proud of our Marching Eagles!  They really put on their best show to date and took the highest score of the entire championship event, across all groups!  96.30 and awards for Best Music, Best Visual!  
WD support was strong too, we saw and heard you!  Thank you to all who came out to support us.

The next two weeks will be our final push to the Atlantic Coast Championships.  WD is currently ranked #1 going into the final competition of the season.  ACC Schedules and info will be forthcoming.

This week we have homecoming events.   This week's football game is currently scheduled to take place at Sterling HS.  WDMB will be performing at halftime following the homecoming festivities.

Home Show – Bravo to all!
I don’t even know where to begin.  I am so appreciative of all the parents who gave their time, energy, supplies, donations and care to making our home show at Triton an awesome event.  We received nothing but compliments all evening from directors, staff and judges.
 
I want to especially recognize the efforts of our executive board for being extremely organized and tirelessly making sure that every detail was on point.  This was a huge undertaking and with the teamwork and leadership provided, everything ran smoothly.  Bravo!
 
We also need to recognize our Co-hosts for their incredible efforts as well!  Mr. Adams and all of the parents at Triton were great partners.  Thank you to everyone at Triton for your cooperation and willingness to take on this event.  Best of luck this season!
 
I next want to thank all of the parents who came back on Sunday to help us provide the Allegany HS Band with some WD hospitality.  Our parents fed close to 200 people, and did so expertly.  The Director, staff and  parents from Allegany were very appreciative.  Thank you!

WD - #1 in TOB!
On Sunday the WDMB set a new scoring record at the Deptford TOB show.  The band's Deptford show score of 95.40 is the highest regular season score ever received by the WDMB.  The score of 95.40 beat the previous high score of 93.70 set last season!  This score also makes WD the highest scoring band in all TOB.  #1 of 195 HS bands - across all groups, all classes.  Click here for complete TOB rankings.
 
This Friday we have an away football game at Collingswood HS.  We will be performing pregame (6:40pm).
 
On Sunday, we will be traveling to Eastern Regional HS for the TOB SJ Chapter Championships.  WD is the #1 seed going into championships and will perform last.  WD is working towards their 8th SJ Chapter Championship.  The complete championship performance lineup can be found here: SJ Championship Lineup  Let’s really get the word out and fill the stands with WD family & friends!

 - Another incredible week!  

On Saturday the WDMB took first place with a score of 91.0 at the Clearview TOB show.  On Sunday the WDMB set a new season scoring record at the Rutherford TOB show.  The band's Rutherford score of 92.30 is the highest score we ever received this point of the season.  This new score of 92.30 beat the previous high score of 91.90 set in 2005!  Thank you to everyone who made the journey to Rutherford!  Our program is really beginning to hit the mark!

This week we are moving into the final weekend of the regular season with two competitions.  On Saturday we have our home show at Triton Regional HS.  On Sunday we have a competition at Deptford HS.

On Sunday we will be sharing our rehearsal spaces with the Allegany Marching Band from Cumberland, MD.  We will both be rehearsing at WDHS.  We will end our rehearsals by performing for each other.  After, we will then have lunch together before we both head on over to Deptford.
