We are getting very excited for this upcoming Saturday as we return to competition. Here are some additional updates for this weekend.
Color Guard Uniforms – This year’s color guard costumes have not arrived yet. Each year we have custom costumes made for us and there were some issues causing a delay. While we have been hoping they would arrive in time, they will not. Tonight, we will be fitting the color guard in our costumes from last year. These will get us through the weekend.
Band Uniforms – Band uniforms went home on Tuesday. All members should have tried them on to ensure the fit is good and there are no issues. Please notify Mr. Kershaw for any issues asap. Please do not wait until Friday. All band members should wear LONG BLACK SOCKS when in full uniform. No ankle socks.
Saturday – This Saturday students will be fed by the band parents before we leave for Pitman. We have rehearsal then a 90-minute break before we board buses @12:30pm. We perform at 3pm. Kids will be back in the stadium to watch the other bands @4pm. Pitman will have concessions available for everyone at the show. Students will be asked to bring $$$ for snacks/food.
Tickets for the Pitman show are $12 at the gate.
