ON THE ROAD AGAIN! This past Friday, the WDMB traveled to Haddonfield to support our Eagle Football Squad. It was great to see the full band in uniform and doing what they love!
About event tickets – The WDMB has no control or say in how many tickets are offered to us. I had no idea of how many tickets the band would have available until after rehearsal on Thursday night. After the Remind message went out on Friday about us having 40 tickets available, I received 10 emails asking to hold tickets, pass along tickets and other requests. Please understand, I want to help everyone, but it quickly became unmanageable and became a huge distraction while I prepared to take the band on our first travel event of the year. I hope everyone is understanding of the situation and manages their expectations. We are not business as usual.
Ongoing – We will have better control of the ticket process for our home events. I will communicate later this week on how this will be handled once I receive info from our administration. I am sure we will have more than 1 day to handle tickets. Again, I have no control of the process.
This week – We will be working hard to continue developing our show. Rehearsals this week are only Tuesday & Thursday. All rehearsals at this point are critical and thus demand 100% attendance (illness withstanding).
This Friday we will NOT be attending the Willingboro game. Willingboro has denied away bands and cheer squads from attending their events. The band will be a part of a “Parking Lot Pep-Rally” to send off the football team when they depart for Willingboro. I have set approximate times for this event and will confirm the exact times by Wednesday. Yes, full uniform will be worn for this event.

Tuesday, 10/6 – Rehearsal 6p-9p
Wednesday 10/7 – Nothing Scheduled
Thursday 10/8 – Rehearsal 6p-9p
Friday, 10/9 – Parking Lot Pep Rally
4:00pm – Report to WDHS in full uniform
4:30pm – Parking Lot Pep Rally begins
5:30pm – Parking Lot Pep Rally Ends
5:45pm - Dismissed
