Group II Open Rankings 10-15-2017 We know what band has "El Corazon!"
This weekend would not have been the absolute success it was without our Band Parents organization. We cannot thank our band Parents enough. Everyone who came out to help with the home show were amazing. Thank you all for your time and dedication to making that evening very special. I want to give special shout outs to our Band Parents Executive Board for all of their time, planning and execution which made the show run so smoothly.
I want to thank one of our band parents, Jeff Hatfield, for his amazing art work designs for our t-shirts & program cover. Truly amazing!
Finally thank you to everyone who came out to both shows and cheered us on. It is obvious who's family and friends "bring it" to each show. Your cheers are our fuel and we love it.
And The (Heart) Beat Goes On...
This Friday night football returns to WDHS vs rival Haddonfield! This week's game is our Senior Recognition Night & WDMS night! Our senior members & their parents will be recognized front & center on the track during the game. We are also inviting interested 7th & 8th grade students to come out and be a part of the band this week as we share what being a member of the WDMB is about.
This Saturday we will have a championship rehearsal from 10a-1p.
On Sunday, we will be traveling to Eastern Regional HS for the Tournament of Bands - SJ, Region I Championships. WD is the #1 seed going into championships and will perform last in our group. WD is working towards their 10th SJ Region I Championship. Results from this weekend determines final rankings going into the Atlantic Coast Championships (ACC's). We have tickets available. Tickets for both Adults ($15) and Student/Senior Citizens ($10) are available from Mr. Kershaw. Lets fill the stadium with Green & White!!!

- Our 44th Annual "Music in Cadence" TOB Competition went amazingly.
- The weather was cooperative and we gave 24 bands a great performance opportunity.
- Saturday night the WDMB set a new record high score for our home show!
- The WDMB took sole ownership of the top of Group II Open Competition!
- The WDMB is now the highest scoring band in the entire TOB circuit (209 HS bands!).
