ACC's WEEK!!!!!
This week we begin our final drive to max out our "Ice-solation" program. This final competition performance is what we work so hard towards. It is unbelieveable how our students have performed all season. We know that this upcoming Sunday's performance will be the best we've ever been! Its time to get pumped!!!!!
On Saturday we will have rehearsal from 10am-2pm. Students will need to bring a snack. We will break 12p-12:20p.
Students who are attending the Homecoming dance have a WDMB imposed curfew of 11pm. The dance ends at 10:30pm and everyone should go home after and get a good night's rest for championships the next day. No hanging out at the diner!!!
On Sunday we will be traveling to Hershey, PA for the TOB Atlantic Coast Championships (ACC’s). There are 20 Group III Open Class bands competing! Be sure to purchase tickets from Mr. Kershaw. Advance ticket sales are $20 for adults and $15 for students/seniors. Gate prices are $22 & $17. Only cash can be accepted for ticket purchases.
Parents who are riding on the parent's bus please note the departure time. Please arrive early as we are pulling out exactly at 2:30pm with or without you. This was an issue last year.
In Hershey, we are anticipating windy conditions. We are looking for 13 volunteers to hold props on the field during our performance. I have put out the word to get WDHS kids first. Should we need any additional I will put the call out to any WDMS siblings.
