Hello WDMB Family,
This is the first of my weekly emails detailing our upcoming week’s schedule.
Look for these each Sunday/Monday of the season.

This summer could not have gone better. The weather was great, our fields were dry and our band is as prepared as ever. Thank you to everyone for making our summer camps a priority.
This week we have our first public performance! We will be providing the pre-game entertainment for the football game at Sterling HS. All of us are excited to present our program "Ice-solation" to a live audience. We are still in the
development stages of the program and will be working hard this week to polish as much of our performance as we can. We would like to have 4-5 parents at the game to assist us with moving our pit equipment on and off the field.
UNIFORMS
At this time, everyone has been fitted for their uniforms. Our thanks and special appreciation needs to go out to Mrs. Tropiano & Mrs. Bonaventure for doing the needed hemming for us.
We will be using our alternate uniform this week for the performance.
This is the same as what we wore on Memorial Day.
All musicians need to locate their band caps!
Band shirts will be issued on Tuesday evening after rehearsal.
Full band uniforms will be issued this Wednesday night.
Band performance attire this week...
WDMB shirt (provided), Black Cap (provided)
Solid black pants with belt, Solid Black shoes, Black socks.
Color Guard performance attire this week...
WDMB shirt (provided), Solid black shorts with respectable length (no short-shorts or cut-offs please!),
Solid white shoes/sneakers, White socks.
Band shoes: All band members who still need shoes will need to provide Mr. Kershaw their size by Tuesday. Most sudents ordered them in the spring, but we will be putting in another order this week. Shoes are $35. Please make checks payable to "West Deptford High School"

Tuesday, 9/9 - Rehearsal 6pm-9pm
- Alternate uniform shirts will be distributed (to be worn to school this Friday)
Wednesday, 9/10 - Rehearsal 6pm-9pm
- Full uniform will be distributed
Thursday, 9/11 - Rehearsal 6pm-9pm
Friday, 9/12 - Pregame Performance at Sterling HS
4:30pm - Report/load
5:15pm - Depart for Sterling HS
5:30pm - Arrive at Sterling HS/Unload/Warm-ups
6:40pm - Pregame performance!
7:00pm - Game Begins
9:30pm - Game ends/Load
9:45pm - Depart for WDHS
10:00pm - Arrive at WDHS/Unload
10:20 - Dismissed
