Hello WDMB Family,
This is the first of my weekly emails detailing our upcoming week’s schedule. Look for these each Sunday/Monday of the season. These weekly messages will also be posted on the blog page on our band's website: www.wdhsmusic.org
Now that summer break has officially ended, we expect to have 100% attendance at every rehearsal and event. No exceptions. Your full commitment begins now.
This week we have our first public performance! We will be providing the pregame entertainment for the away football game vs Audubon HS. All of us are excited to present our program "El Corazón" to a live audience. We are still in the early development stages of the program and will be working hard this week to polish as much of our performance as we can.
UNIFORMS
We will be fitting uniforms this week. All musicians are asked to report at 5pm on Tuesday & Wednesday for fittings. We will be fitting jackets on Tuesday and pants on Wednesday.
=> On Wednesday we will need help from any parents who can help us hem uniform pants. If you are handy with a needle & thread, please come out at 5p. Thank you!
We will be using our alternate uniform this week for Saturday's FB performance.
This is the same as what we wore on Memorial Day. All musicians need to locate their band caps!
Band shirts will be issued on Tuesday evening after rehearsal. Full band uniforms will be issued next week.

Band shoes: Any band members who still need shoes will need to provide Mr. Kershaw their size on Tuesday. Most students ordered them in the spring, but we will be putting in another order this week. Shoes are $35. Please make checks payable to "West Deptford High School"

Thursday, 9/7 - Rehearsal 6pm-9pm
Saturday, 9/9 - FB Performance (A) Audubon
8:00am - Report/Load
8:45am - Depart for Audubon
9:15am - Arrive at Audubon, unload & warm-up
10:40am - WDMB Pregame performance
11:00am - Game Begins
1:30pm - Game ends/Load
2:00pm - Depart for WDHS
2:30pm - Arrive WDHS/Unload
3:00pm - Dismissed

- Solid black pants w/belt
- Solid Black shoes
- Black socks
